Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to practice sessions for plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony December of the same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's television work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples ever. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
